Kevin has been engaged in various types of investigations since 1985. He began his investigative career working surveillance and undercover assignments in the New York-New Jersey area. He specialized and worked on a variety of cases dealing with internal theft, the illicit use and distribution of drugs in the workplace and Medicaid Prescription Drug Fraud.
Kevin also has a vast amount of experience in the corporate world working in the pharmaceutical/biotech and manufacturing arenas. He holds certificates in loss prevention, pre-employment background investigations, and interviewing & interrogations. Additionally, he has extensive experience and work history in the area of electronic security systems. In addition to being a Licensed Private Detective, Kevin is a Compliance Officer employed with the State of Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection as a Consumer Protection Investigator.
Kevin began business planning and started Mapleton Investigations, LLC in the Fall of 2004. His interests lay in any investigation that is medically-related such as personal injury and medical mal-practice. He also specializes in employee theft, loss prevention and fraud investigations. He has a passion for working with families of victims of domestic abuse, nursing home abuse and missing persons.
Kevin serves as Treasurer on the Board of Directors for the Professional Association of Wisconsin Licensed Investigators (PAWLI) and is a Regional Director for the National League of Licensed Investigators (NLLI). He holds a BS degree from West Virginia Wesleyan College and completed all classwork toward his Masters degree at Montclair State College in NJ before being transferred to Wisconsin.
